HemaFAIR continues to strengthen its presence within the international scientific community, with project researcher Maria Xenophontos presenting recent work at the SWAT4HCLS 2026 in Amsterdam.
The presented poster, titled “HemaFAIR: Implementing FAIR principles in real-world Rare Hematological Disease datasets,” highlights ongoing efforts within the project to address data fragmentation in rare haematological diseases. This work contributes directly to advancing FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) data practices and supporting patient-centred, data-driven research across Europe.
Participation in international conferences such as SWAT4HCLS provides an important platform for sharing knowledge, exchanging ideas, and building collaborations with researchers, clinicians, and stakeholders in the field.
Conference attendees are encouraged to visit the HemaFAIR poster, engage in discussion, and explore opportunities for collaboration. Fostering dialogue within the community remains key to advancing research and improving outcomes for patients with rare haematological diseases.
The project also acknowledges the support of the HELIOS ACTION Young Researchers and Innovators Conference Grant, which contributed to enabling this participation.
